"“Individually we are one drop. Together we are an Ocean.”"An enlightening statement by Ryunasuke Satoro. This is real knowledge because even the ocean will be less
without the drop. For that matter every drop counts. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s
ignorance. We have to learn to enjoy the little things of life and that too together. With people who you
are close to and once you achieve that extend to the society, then to the country , to the world and
finally to the Universe.

Uni-verse means one-song. Sing the song that finds melodies in each and everyone’s heart. You
can do so by small acts of compassion, love, sharing and caring. Otherwise there will be a day in your
life when you will understand that those were things that really mattered.
Failings are of events, not of persons. So don’t be disappointed with persons. There is a
difference between the doer and the deed. If the doer disappoints you, consider he is teaching you a
lesson you need to learn. You have to learn to forgive the doer. The deed can be forgotten if you learn
the lesson and forgive the doer.
Don’t ever bring night into the morning of today, because it was an end of yesterday. Keep alive in
your heart the eternal spark of love always. Be like the moon and not the stars. One moon gives more
light than all the stars. Shower people with love like the moon does with its moonlight — soothing,
calming, cooling and touching you in such a way that feelings flow freely between you and the moon.
Socrates has advised us, “Remember that there is nothing stable in human affairs; therefore
avoid undue elation in prosperity or undue depression in adversity.” From the past you can draw a
beautiful future. But don’t remain in the past. If you think you are able to make a beautiful present
then you are able to do so. Trust yourself to turn this present to a beautiful future.
Karl Menninger beautifully said, “Love cures people, both the ones who give it and the ones who
receive it.” Go with all your heart wherever you plan to go. Do all with your heart, whatever you plan
to do. Be with your heart, whatever you plan to be.
A man is rich according to what he is, not according to what he has. The richness of the person is the
richness of his heart. If you are rich in your heart, then only you can reveal the richness in others’
hearts.
Life always moves on whether you are a coward or a hero. So face every moment with an open mind
and then the moment can be a source of love, joy and beauty. Confucius says, “Wisdom, compassion
and courage are the three universally recognized moral qualities of men.”
Just knowledge is flour but wisdom is the bread of life. Compassion is the key to develop Oneness with
the Universe. Be courageous, confront your deepest fear. Then fear will not overpower you. Then you will
be free. Free to experience the Oneness with all. For this you have to either find a way or make a way.
Courage is the price you have to pay for peace.
Rumi said, “If you are irritated by every rub, how will you be polished.” You have to look up to
see the rainbow. You have to have compassion to see the beauty in others. Otherwise, you will be blind
to it. If you look down on a person, if you have no sympathy along with understanding for him, then how
will you ever see the beauty that lies within the soul?
Life is not waiting for the torrential rains to pass. Life is about learning to dance in those
very rains. Know well that those who fling mud, lose a lot of ground! Then where will you stand on? And
who will stand by you if you leave no ground for him? In fact, when you light the path for others, you
will light your own path too, isn’t it?
So at the very earliest, find what you have to live for, and if you can’t find that then find something
to die for. Audrey Hepburn famously said, “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for
beautiful lips, speak only the words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are
never alone.”
The way is not in the sky, the way is in the heart — yours and others. Whatever you think and do will
be reflected by the mirror of Life.
